The Aim of this Website is to assist in promoting awareness of Freemasonry in general and of the Wessex Lodge of Fidelity No. 8681 in particular.
The main objectives are:
· To inform Lodge members and other Freemasons, of the history, the current standing and the charities supported by the Wessex Lodge of Fidelity.
· To provide information to non-masons who may wish to learn more about Freemasonry in general.
· To assist in recruiting suitable non-masons into Freemasonry and the Wessex Lodge of Fidelity No. 8681 in particular.
· To gradually bring the promotion and administration of Freemasonry into the 21st century by providing information on Lodge activities – both official and social – to members who are unable to attend regular meetings. (It is envisaged that when sufficient numbers of Lodge members are able to use this website, that administrative information, including Lodge summons’, can be promulgated via this medium. Thus saving the Secretary considerable time and money on postage and printing.)
