Entries shall not be accepted after 23:59 Sunday, April 29, 2007. TGL shall not be responsible for inaudible or incomplete transmissions.

4. Team names:
TGL reserves the right to refuse to accept any team names or Super League names that have been duplicated or are felt, in TGL’s sole discretion, to be inappropriate or offensive. Unsuitable names shall be deleted or amended and the team or Super League shall appear under the Manager’s or the Chairman's name.

5. Player selection list:
The players included on the selection list and their values have been determined arbitrarily. Player values remain constant throughout the competition. TGL shall not enter into any correspondence relating to details of the selection list, nor will it accept the inclusion into a team of any player not on the selection list. New players may be introduced into the Competition by TGL as and when appropriate, before and during the Season. These will be listed from time to time within The Daily Telegraph and on www.telegraph.co.uk/fantasygames.

6. Player selection:
Managers' team selections must consist of 11 players chosen from the selection list, in either a 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 formation. The combined total value of your 11 player team selection must not exceed £50 million at any time throughout the Competition. The team of 11 must include 1 goalkeeper and 4 defenders plus either 3 midfielders and 3 strikers (4-3-3) or 4 midfielders and 2 strikers (4-4-2). Managers may switch between formations during the Season by making transfers - see point 8. A player can only be selected once at any one time - player duplication is not permitted. There is no restriction on the number of players chosen from the same football club. Applications from Managers whose team(s) do not meet the selection criteria or are incomplete or are illegible will be rejected and Managers will be given the opportunity to amend or re-select their team by post. This may result in Managers missing a Competition deadline and TGL will accept no responsibility for this. Payment will not be taken for invalid teams until they have been amended and validated. Managers not wishing to select their own team but wishing to participate in the competition may do so by ticking the auto team-select box on the application form. Auto team-select may also be requested using the internet facility or by telephone. The computer will select a team and details of that selection will be sent to the Manager with the Manager's pack (if requested). Managers of valid team selections that give an email address will receive team confirmation by electronic mail but should be aware that some ISP's and central servers have 'fire walls' or other blocking software which do not allow distribution of game related communications. Where requested, entries will be confirmed by post within 21 days of receipt of entry.

7. Scoring points:
Scores for those players who appear within our player selection list will be calculated using data provided to TGL by GFM Holdings Ltd in relation to the Season and the relevant fixture results. Neither TGL nor GFM Holdings Limited will enter into any correspondence in relation to the point allocation of any player or team selection. We accept no responsibility for the accuracy of this data. Points will be awarded and deducted as follows: Player featured in starting XI +2, substitute appearance +1, goal scored (inc shoot-outs) +5, key contribution to a goal +3, sent off -5, yellow card -2 (2 yellow cards leading to a red card will count -5), own goal -3, missed penalty (inc shoot-outs) - 5, Man of the Match +3 (awarded to one player in each match scored in Telegraph Fantasy Football by The Daily Telegraph Sports Editorial Department). For defenders and goalkeepers only: clean sheet (players completing full match only) +4, clean sheet (players completing part of a match only) +2, goal conceded -1. For goalkeepers only: penalty save (inc shoot-outs) +5 (for these points to be awarded the goalkeeper must have touched the ball with some part of his body). All matches played during the Season will count towards scoring in the Competition from Saturday, August 19, 2006 until and including the final match on Saturday, May 19, 2007. Abandoned matches where the result does not stand, will not count towards any scoring in the Competition. The TFF 'week' will run from Tuesday to Monday. Key contributions to goals will be awarded at the sole discretion of the judging panel appointed by TGL. Points for key contributions will not necessarily be awarded for all goals scored and in some cases the judges may award points to two players for one goal if they consider both to have made a key contribution. A key contribution will not necessarily be awarded to the last player to touch the ball before the goal scorer and may be awarded for opposition own goals. The judges' decision shall be final and TGL will not enter into any correspondence regarding points deducted or allocated to players.  In the event a selected team does not meet the Player Selection criteria (point 5), points shall not be accumulated until the following Tuesday after the team meets the Player Selection criteria. Scores will be updated every Wednesday in The Daily Telegraph and every Wednesday and Friday online at www.telegraph.co.uk/fantasygames

8. Transfers:
Managers may alter their teams during the course of the Season by effecting transfers, which may be actioned by post, telephone or online. Managers may use any combination of postal, telephone or on-line options to action transfers (subject to a maximum of eight postal transfers per team in the course of the Season). A total of 30 transfers per team are available during the Season but a maximum of four per team will be permitted in any one week (Tuesday to Monday period). Transfers beyond the maximum number allowed will be rejected.

Players must be transferred before the earliest scheduled kick-off on any match day in order to score points on that day. Players transferred after the scheduled kick-off on any day will score points as from the following match day. With all transfers, Managers must ensure that their teams continue to meet the selection criteria (see point 6). Once submitted, transfer requests cannot be altered under any circumstances. All online transfer requests are free. Newly transferred-in players cannot be removed from a team until at least the next earliest match-day kick-off has passed.

By Post:
Postal transfers must be made using an official transfer form and sent to: Telegraph Fantasy Football, PO Box 5556, Colchester CO2 8GJ. A loose first class stamp must accompany each transfer request made by post. Only one stamp is required with each application, regardless of the number of players being transferred. TGL shall not be responsible for transfer applications lost in the post, or incomplete or illegible transfer applications and proof of posting is not proof of receipt. Invalid postal transfer requests will be rejected and Managers will be advised by post. Confirmation of valid transfers will be sent by post within 7 days.

By the Internet:

The phone number shall change on a weekly basis. This service is charged at 10p per minute from a BT landline, non BT landline customers should check with their phone provider for details of costs. The length of the call will depend on the number of transfers being made (i.e 2 players out and 2 players in may result in an approximate call duration of 2 minutes). To make telephone transfers, Managers will need their Team PIN and their security code, which will be printed in their Manager’s pack or advised electronically by email upon application to enter the Competition. Proof of telephoning will not be accepted as proof of the correct transmission of data. Transfer requests made by phone shall be acknowledged at the end of the call, however, TGL shall not be responsible for inaudible or incomplete transmissions.

In addition to the transfer allocation above, a transfer amnesty shall operate from Saturday, July 15, 2006 until 23:59 Thursday, August 17, 2006 which allows Managers to make any number of changes to their line-up. These changes can be made by phone or online. Incomplete entries to a Super League will be rejected. Any Super League comprised of 5 or more identical team selections will be ineligible for Super League prizes. A Chairman must first register the Super League and his/her own team online. This will generate a Super League PIN number, which, along with the Super League name, must be given (in exactly the form it appears) to all potential participants to that Super League, in order that they can affilitate their team to that Super League. The Chairman will be the recipient of all correspondence relating to their Super League team.
