The Blake-Plowman Blues Revue were dedicated to producing the  sound of classic blues and R'nB. The band was put together in September 2001 and stopped gigging around 2005. The combined talents of Dave Plowman and Ted Bunting on Stratocaster and Tenor Sax respectively helped to give the band its monster sound. This, coupled with the exquisite keyboard skills of the incomparable Ed Thomas  and the driving solidity of the  rhythm section, were all good reasons to get out and see them! They  did a cracking gig at Montgomery Town Hall to a small but very appreciative audience and the whole affair was recorded by engineer Matt Donaldson onto minidisc. Here are a few tracks, recorded live at that gig, that show the instrumental power of the band. Please note that these are not studio quality recordings!!:

(You need RealOne player to hear these tracks. If you don't have it, you can download it for free from their website by clicking   here )
